When I first started shooting I told another photographer who let me tag a long with him to a wedding that I knew how to shoot in manual mode. When we got to the shoot and he gave me some direction, it turns out I really had no idea what that meant or what I was saying. I’ve found that a majority of people just starting out with an SLR tell me the same thing, and have the same problem I did. They feel they know what shooting manual means, but really have no idea.
If you check out some of the links below to previous workshops we have done you will note that they are A TOTAL BLAST! It’s not that I have anything ground breaking spectacular to tell you. The fact is there just aren’t a lot of places you can go to learn how the professionals use their cameras and get the results they do, and learn it in all in one day! I’ve gotten so many thank you cards from attendees telling me how eye opening it was to know what skills they should focus on to get better. I have also gotten emails from people years later telling me that they had a light bulb moment in this course that was the launch to their career in photography.]
