  • WELCOME!

Welcome to the blog! If the banner doesn't make it obvious enough I'll just spill the beans and let you know that we are a full time husband and wife wedding photography team. We love life, God, weddings, and if you slide over our names to the left you'll note a few other things we love.

We are based out of Los Angeles, and when I say that, I mean our studio is right in the smack dab center of downtown. However, if you start browsing through the blog history you will soon note that we shoot weddings all over the country and world. We put a lot into making our images so I hope you enjoy checking some of them out!

If you're up for having a great time at your wedding, and our photos have the look you are going for, then feel free to shoot us a note and we would love to chat some more!

California Desert Wedding Inspiration

A few weeks ago our friend Samantha from Primary Petals contacted us and asked if we would be interested in photographing a little “mini” shoot she was putting together. Now when Samantha says “mini” she means at least six SUV’s will show up, over a dozen people will be involved and some of the best vendors in the country will participate. Yup it was “mini” lol.

There’s something I LOVE about the desert. I think it was the dude ranch I went to every summer in grade school to learn how to ride in rodeos, rope cattle and stand up on a running horse with no saddle. Looking back those were some of the best weeks of my life, and the desert always brings it back for me.

Feathers, painted antlers, handmade head-dress, all of these little details came together to make such a fun inspiration shoot! The thing we love about these types of shoots is that you can take even one little detail and incorporate it into your wedding to make it uniquely yours. Samantha’s cousin who is actually part Native American modeled for us and the whole thing was lovely! Be sure to check out some of the awesome vendors and their sites at the bottom. There were a lot of people involved!

Tuesday’s Table | Native Inspired | CharaNicole - […] Each November, the U.S. recognizes National Native American Heritage Month – celebrating the diverse histories and cultures of Native American and Alaska Native people. This year’s theme, “Guiding Our Destiny with Heritage and Traditions: Leading the Way to Healthier Nations,” speaks to the vital role that cultural heritage plays in strengthening families and communities. Our family has ties to the Diné (Navajo), Choctaw, Blackfoot, and Cherokee Nations. Today’s table gives honor to this beautiful heritage, full of life, color, and vibrancy.
