Welcome to the blog! If the banner doesn't make it obvious enough I'll just spill the beans and let you know that we are a full time husband and wife wedding photography team. We love life, God, weddings, and if you slide over our names to the left you'll note a few other things we love.

We are based out of Los Angeles, and when I say that, I mean our studio is right in the smack dab center of downtown. However, if you start browsing through the blog history you will soon note that we shoot weddings all over the country and world. We put a lot into making our images so I hope you enjoy checking some of them out!

If you're up for having a great time at your wedding, and our photos have the look you are going for, then feel free to shoot us a note and we would love to chat some more!

Michael & Carissa {Wedding} | Altadena, California

There were two moments that stood out in my mind as the underlying core of what made this wedding so special. Suzy and I first met at Carissa’s house to get a few detail shots. Then I was going to head over to the hotel where Michael was staying to get a few shots of him. Right before I left Carissa asked me if I could bring Michael a gift she had gotten him. It was a little wrapped box with a little card. When I arrived at the hotel, I said “hello” and handed him the gift. Michael was so excited to open it that I barely had time to get all my light settings for the dark hotel room. When he did open it, the emotion was apparent. I love it!

The second moment was right at the beginning of the ceremony. I was up near the front getting some shots of the bridesmaids coming up the aisle. Then I glanced back at Michael just as Carissa came into view, and he had a single tear running down his cheek. I flipped around and got a quick shot before getting some of Carissa coming up the aisle. I know that some men think it’s cool not to ever shed a tear. But seriously, it’s often a good thing. Getting married is a big deal. It’s a serious thing, and seeing the love in Michael’s eyes and the emotion in his heart made the day for me.

Thanks for letting us be a part of your day guys!
