The beginning of this week I had the privilege of being in the studio audience (a.k.a. in the living room) for Matt Kennedy’s live broadcast IMPACT workshop in Vancouver! It was an intense 10 hours of teaching and then we all headed out into the city for some shooting fun!
The workshop was a complete overview as to how to IMPACT and help serve people for the better in every area of your wedding photography business. He talked about how to apply this in everything from meeting with clients before the wedding, interacting with guests during the wedding, helping vendors after the wedding, and most importantly making time for your family!
Much of the content was things I already do to some extent, but Matt’s enthusiasm and excitement was affirming, re-energizing, and exciting! Of the parts I didn’t already do, I took eight typed pages of notes, and Suzy and I are going to have one long meeting to talk them all through and decide how to implement many of them! Fantastic!
If you missed the live workshop, you can still watch the re-play of the whole thing on the Showit LIVE site. You just won’t get to ask questions in real time.
Thank you Matt so much for having me up, and his wife Carissa for hosting. Thanks to Kevin Sturm for putting it all together and doing all the tech work. Kevin is just fun to be with all around, all the time! Thanks Meg and her husband Scott for modeling. And thanks for being a fun part of the studio audience with me Justine and Christy!
I posted a few summary photos below. =)
