It’s funny how sometimes you drift through life meeting hundreds and sometimes even thousands of new people each year. Some of those relationships never develop and are soon forgotten. But other ones develop into what you later realize was a tipping point in your life. You realize that a chance encounter might rather have been an act of God that changed your life forever. There are a good number of those relationships I could tell you about at various intersections in my life. But I recently got this sweet note from our friend Jessica Cudzilo. With the note was a super fun sketch she had commissioned Hunter Haines to do of us. It was such a sweet gesture and since we just had breakfast with Jessica when she was in LA this week I thought it would be a good time to tell you more about her!
Earlier this year she started an online photography school called “The Define School“. It’s a school that I think is going to help change the course of the wedding and portrait photography industry nation wide. It offers some of the most amazing, easy to understand, and relevant classes from some of the best teachers in the country. All the classes are incredibly affordable, have a ton of one on one interaction, and include invaluable topics for those entering into the craziness of what we like to call the wedding photo industry.
I have the privilege of teaching a class on workflow that really takes the “work” out of post processing and makes it a simple one day task to completely process a wedding. But I am tempted to sign up for every single class on Define since there is so much great content. I mean who wouldn’t want to brush up on their skills in every single area of your business? This is key material for the hobbyist all the way to the full time wedding professional.
All said Jessica is a sweet quiet person fully devoted to her family. But beneath that quiet surface she is a true visionary. Check out The Define School to learn more!
