Lukas & Suzy International Wedding Photographers bio picture

Welcome to the blog! If the banner doesn't make it obvious enough I'll just spill the beans and let you know that we are a full time husband and wife wedding photography team. We love life, God, weddings, and if you slide over our names to the left you'll note a few other things we love.

We are based out of Los Angeles, and when I say that, I mean our studio is right in the smack dab center of downtown. However, if you start browsing through the blog history you will soon note that we shoot weddings all over the country and world. We put a lot into making our images so I hope you enjoy checking some of them out!

If you're up for having a great time at your wedding, and our photos have the look you are going for, then feel free to shoot us a note and we would love to chat some more!

Creative Connection Los Angeles

Imagine for a second, a group of ladies. A group of ladies overflowing with amazing ideas and talent. Overflowing with encouragement. Now quit imagining- that group really exists! I started meeting with the Creative Connection LA group about a month ago, and couldn’t recommend the group more. I asked Emilee Hegg, Hostess of the Los Angeles branch, if she could share a little bit about the group with us. Emilee is a fabulous Creative herself. Make sure to check out her super-cute shop, Tasteful Tatters!

What is Creative Connection LA?
We’re a group of fabulous female creatives who live in the Los Angeles area!

How often do you meet?
Each month we meet for a morning or afternoon of inspiration & socializing. We network, learn from each other, and make new friends in the creative field! We also get to make those face-to-face connections with ladies we tweet with, blog with, facebook stalk, and work near!

What do you “do” there?
We interact, network, basically just hang out with each other. We also learn a lot from the featured vendors for the month. We get a closer look at what their strengths and talents are. We also always have great food!

How did it start?
Elise Ostermann, the group’s founder started the group to fill a void. There are few groups that are open to ALL creatives; not just photographers, or event planners. Just all females who are creative. We understand each other, our lifestyles, our busy schedules and we can offer a support system for each other – not more competition – just real life friendships.

Why should I go?
I think all females yearn for strong friendships. Let’s face it – with just love chatting it up =) It’s hard to make friends in a world that is consumed with social media and everything is on the internet. This allows for real face-time and long lasting relationships to build. We also get the opportunity to meet people with so many skills and talents that we learn and grow from each other – and some of us end up working together on projects too!

Thanks so much Emilee for sharing with us!
